Muscat Arab Cultural Capital 2006

The name of Muscat occupies the essential position in the logo, and forms a flame symbolizing the glow of culture in Muscat due to the care it received.
2006 comes in the form of a mast holding a sail to symbolize navigation in many cultural spaces. Sail boats were very important means of spreading sciences by Omanis who had prominent roles throughout the ages.
The hull is formed by a quill pen combined with “ Arab Cultural Capital “ placed under the sail to form the body of the boat and the logo base. The composed elements of the logo coherently symbolize the content and significance of Muscat the Arab Cultural Capital. This all works to document the importance of this event throughout Omani cultural history.
